How Many Treatments Are Needed?

One of the most important aspects of achieving permanent results is by the faithful participation of the client in regular treatments. The coarseness of the hair, the number of hairs to be removed, the previous methods used to temporarily remove the hair all play an important part in determining how long it will take to complete the process.

Additionally, hair grows in different stages. Each hair grows from the hair follicle, and after a time eventually sheds. After shedding, the follicle rests for a while, and then starts to produce yet another new hair. This is the hair cycle. When you understand these stages you will understand why multiple treatments are needed so as to encounter those follicles which are in the dormant stage waiting to grow additional hair.
